Steve Arpin and cbdMD Promote Breast Cancer Awareness with Local Charity

Team cbdMD athlete Steve Arpin honored Breast Cancer Awareness Month by sporting a bright pink fire suit during the final event of the Americas Rallycross season. The suit will be auctioned off by cbdMD with all proceeds going to Carolina Breast Friends of Charlotte, NC.

On October 6, Team cbdMD athlete Steve Arpin placed second in the 2019 Americas Rallycross Championship finale at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. But for Arpin and cbdMD, success on the track wasn’t the only goal for the day.

To promote breast cancer awareness, Arpin debuted a bright pink livery on the #00 cbdMD Ford Fiesta and wore a matching fire suit for the event. Arpin’s team, Loenbro Motorsports, donated the suit to cbdMD for auction.

All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Carolina Breast Friends (CBF) of Charlotte, NC, a non-profit organization dedicated to support, encouragement, and empowerment of those affected by breast cancer.

Further supporting the cause, cbdMD sponsored CBF’s 10th annual Pink Boots Ball. The fundraiser was held on October 12, 2019 at the Ritz Carlton in Charlotte, NC.

CBF was founded in 2003 by Kristy Adams-Ebel with a commitment to serve women and men with breast cancer at any point in their survival journeys. Along with group support meetings and a wide range of special events, CBF offers weekly exercise, yoga, meditation, and other classes at The Pink House, located at 1607 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC.
